I'd like to keep the discussions going, but regarding actual progress on these games, there will be very little over the next few weeks. My wife & I just moved and it's going to take a bit of time to put my office back together in the new home, get everything hooked up, and all that. Some things like getting various appliances working take a higher priority than printing cards!

We're making progress getting things unpacked and organized, but there's still a lot to do. Tomorrow, a friend is coming over to the house with the intent of setting up and unpacking the office (at least as much as we can do right now). This will go a long way towards getting me back on track with game design.
On another note, our new office arrangement, the "open office design" makes things tough to work on stuff during work hours when I'm not busy with real work tasks... Too many prying and curious eyes! Of course, it's been very busy the past few weeks with that real work stuff, so I haven't had much down time anyway. Such as it is.

Much progress was made over the weekend! Many thanks to Jon Grover for the help he provided. My home office is mostly arranged and put together, though we need a couple bookshelves to finish the job. My prototype games are all neatly stacked on my desk and ready for me to continue my work on them.
Now to find the time to actually work on them... Tonight I'm going to Mom and Dad's to help them install a new computer. They managed to crash the hard drive on their old one. 37 year of computing for me, and I've never crashed a hard drive (though I have toasted a few floppy disks...) . I think this makes 3 for them. *sigh*
